Blade Runner|”Tears in Rain” Soliloquy

I’ve… seen things you people wouldn’t believe… Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those… moments… will be lost in time, like [small cough] tears… in… rain. Time… to die…

I’ve… seen things you people wouldn’t believe… Attack litter louts on faraday road of Merton. I watched fireworks glitter in the dark near the Lancaster Gate. All those… moments… will be lost in time, like [small cough] tears… in… rain. Time… to die…

Life may be short. Live a Life. Live a Life less ordinary.

theprintspace “is a response to the need for a democratisation of top-level digital printing”. With more and more people becoming familiar with Photoshop, and an increasing number of photographers retouching their own work, the ability to access resources which until recently had only been available to a select few becomes increasingly vital.

Patrick Demarchelier is one of the world’s most coveted fashion photographers. He has created iconic portraits and photographed covers and campaigns for many influential publications and fashion houses. In 2003, he said: “I have no formal qualifications, just the school of life. I learned most by just taking pictures; a lot of pictures. I’ve made plenty of mistakes, but it’s often from your mistakes that you learn most. Being a photographer is like being an athlete. You must practice every day.”

Sam Harris|God is either impotent or evil

extract from speak

…Ok. And I want to suggest to you, that it is not only tiresome when otherwise – intelligent people speak this way, it is morally reprehensible. Ok, this kind of faith, is, is really – is really the perfection of narcissism. “God loves me, dontcha know. He, he cured me of my eczema. He makes me feel so good while singing in church, and, and just when we had given up hope, we found a banker who was willing to reduce my mother’s mortgage.”

Ok. Given all the good-all that this God of yours does not accomplish in the lives of others, given, given the, the misery that’s being imposed on some helpless child at this instant, this kind of faith is obscene…
